My right calf is sore and I felt like I should take a day off from running. It's well deserved, I think. ;) Instead, I enjoyed a glass of red wine and two episodes of The Office with Trav and Murphy. So, to satisfy today's randomness, here's a pic of Murphy in his favorite* tank top:

LOL, I'm glad you are resting. The best thing you can do is listen to your body. When my knees were hurting I tried to run through it. Running was fine but the soreness when I wasn't running just started getting worse and worse. The time off was what my body needed.
ReplyDeleteI actually ran across an article the other day that said you can take up to 2 weeks off before starting to lose some of your ability and that it can take up to 2 months to really drop down. So I figure, as long as you don't take off more than 2 weeks, you are gold. Although, mentally, that would blow.
