Day-o-Rest

My right calf is sore and I felt like I should take a day off from running. It's well deserved, I think. ;) Instead, I enjoyed a glass of red wine and two episodes of The Office with Trav and Murphy. So, to satisfy today's randomness, here's a pic of Murphy in his favorite* tank top:

  1. LOL, I'm glad you are resting. The best thing you can do is listen to your body. When my knees were hurting I tried to run through it. Running was fine but the soreness when I wasn't running just started getting worse and worse. The time off was what my body needed.

    I actually ran across an article the other day that said you can take up to 2 weeks off before starting to lose some of your ability and that it can take up to 2 months to really drop down. So I figure, as long as you don't take off more than 2 weeks, you are gold. Although, mentally, that would blow.
