I use it too much. The word awesome. I need another adjective that can properly convey my need for "awesome" in my posts. It's a shame that "bitchin'" and "gnarly" are now overused and associated with a cocky, coke-headed butt puppet*. Thanks, Sheen**.

I love the word awesome. But my second favorite is RAD. Followed quickly by fantastic.

... these are the words I use and I was recently threatened by my H to please stop using the word "galactic" to describe EVERYTHING. So maybe we should do a Pen Pal exchange? I'll use awesome for a week, and you can use GBA or galactic and let me know how it feels?
I overuse awesome and wonderful. Sometimes I throw in fantastic for spice.

Oh yeah, so right now my favs are:
ReplyDeleteClutch and Off The Chain or Off the Hook or Redonkulous or Bad A (and you actually say Bad AYE)or Sweet (also over used but I like it)and those are my favs. Then there is Phat. It's ok but not clutch like the others. Oh yeah! Another of my totally favorites is The Heat! Like that outfit is the heat!

I think i overuse awesome too...but look at it this way...you have so many good things in your life that you get to saw awesome so much!! I think bitchin' but i suppose its not apropro for most situations lol

I agree that awesome is overused in my vocab too. When really, it should be reserved for only the VERY BEST.
