Sometimes

Sometimes I feel like nothing in my life goes right.
My mom and my dad were both taken from me (and my sisters, brother, and family) too soon. I feel empty despite having a beautiful husband and daughter. I feel bad about this, but I don't know how to change it.

  1. If you think about how many years you've spent with your parents vs. how many you've spent with your husband, you'll quickly see that the majority of your life has been spent being surrounded by your loving family. And of course your love your husband and daughter, but a huge chunk of your life has been taken away from you, so no wonder you feel empty. :( I'm sorry Zoe, this can't be easy for you.

  2. Hang in there Zoe. Cherish those memories.

Whether you recognize it or not, there are a lot of people whose lives you have touched. You are an inspiration to so many people in so many ways!

Grieving can be a long slow process. Just take it one day at a time.

  4. I have no amazing words of wisdom...but I can offer (((hugs))) and a shoulder and an ear and the quiet understanding of someone who has been there. Sending you lots of love...

  5. My heart hurts for you Zoe. I can only say that you are an energetic, fun and loving person (even though we have never met in "real" life) but I enjoy reading your blog adventures and tweets. Your parents must have been amazing people since you are a representation of them and they now live on through you. I have been praying for you and will continue to pray for you. May God restore joy in your life and help you through this hard time.
